Process » Production

Production process refers to the course of creating a proper translation to intended readers. In MTS, in-house linguists are mainly responsible for producing source-to-target translations. Before initiating production process, a linguist will be appointed as coordinator of the project, who will be responsible for communication with the clients for translation requirements and guarantee of a punctual delivery. Production process consists of the following three consecutive stages:

  • Translating:
  • Create a proper translation by native speakers of target languages; the translated texts could accurately and unambiguously convey the right meaning of the source text in accordance with recognized rules and recommendations, retain the styles of the source and contain no spelling or typo errors.

  • Editing/proofreading:
  • On the basis of MTS Quality Metrics, thoroughly edit/proofread the translated texts by experienced native speakers of target languages who have profound expertise in the specific technical field.

  • Reviewing/approving:
  • A final review of the translated texts for consistency, accuracy, and design integrity, ensuring no cultural misunderstanding or negative cultural impact is found. Create a final text that conveys the exact meaning of the source text, both in formatting and content.
