Boostlingo, an innovative interpreting service platform in the U.S., recently closed a $3.5 million Series A-1 funding round, with investments from Transn IOL Technology, Master Translation Services, and other investors.

Boostlingo is a language software and technology company based in San Francisco, California. It provides the industry with an integrated interpreting delivery and management platform. Through the website and mobile applications of this platform, clients from all over the world are allowed to schedule on-site interpreting and request for over the phone and video remote interpreting services at any time and in any place; language service companies are able to manage interpreter appointments and deliveries of services; and freelance interpreters can undertake projects, manage tasks and keep track of earnings.

Hundreds of language service companies have become partners of Boostlingo since the launch of the platform in the first half of 2017. On the platform, they have managed and provided interpreting services for various clients, such as medical institutions, courts and multinational companies.

Its interpreting market is rather mature and all participants are required to comply with various regulatory requirements., However, there is a supply gap due to a lack of qualified interpreters.
